Clique is Manchester's leading Friday night party, playing a million different flavours of party-starting digital dance music in a glitzy basement to the most up-for-it clubbers in the city.
Launched in 2005,it is now weekly at Mint Lounge, in the city's Northern Quarter.
This season's events so far have included the official post-gig partyfor HOT CHIP, an unforgettable set from AEROPLANE and a surprise unannounced DJ set by the entire LCD SOUNDSYSTEM band!
Other recent events have included rare DJ sets by THE HORRORS, FOALS and FLORENCE &THE MACHINE.
Alongside their raved-about mix-tapes the Clique DJs produce their own remixes and re-edits, with their recent Gorillaz re-edit featured on Pitchfork and reaching their top 5 tracks in April.

This year the clubnight itself was awarded ‘Club of the Year’ by the city’s own Manchester Evening News and named one of the Top 10 hottest clubs in the UK by MIXMAG in 2009.

Funkademia takes place every Saturday to a consistently full house, feeding a friendly crowd with a diet of pure unadulterated soul-funk.
Billed our night as a ‘chronological history of soul’ with the dj collective taking you on a journey through four decades of the very best soul, funk, electric disco and hip-hop with a touch of smooth r&b and some big house classics.
Funkademia does sell out most weeks so you are advised to either arrive early or purchase advance tickets, this way you can avoid the queues or even the sold out sign.

Big News For Broken £nglish
Mint Lounge residents Broke'n'£nglish will be supporting the Wu-tang clan at the Manchester Academy on the 3rd of August 2010!
Taking a side step from running their mega "Ballin On A Budget" nights down at the club, the guys will be rhyming on stage with the Wu Tang collective, big up!

Sweet Sensation Vs Funkademia

In May we played host to 'Sweet Sensation' v. 'Funkademia' which was one of the highlights of the year, lovely and busy with a friendly, all-night dancing atmosphere!
The guys behind Funkademia & Dave Haslam have hurried to get another joint night scheduled which will take place on Saturday 24th July.
